From the President
Seasons Greetings to all MNUG members.
Thank you to all members who turned up at the AGM. The AGM was held under "unique" conditions in the foyer of the Cadbury Schweppes Building. The Novell staff apologizes for the inconvenience caused by Novell offices being locked. The cause was that all the Novell SE's were in Texas at Novell's annual sales conference.
Special thanks to the out going committee, and special welcome to the incoming committee, especially the new face - John Simmons as our Web Master. John is a long time supporter and regular attendee of monthly meetings - we look forward to his Web expertise.
From now on we plan to publish most monthly articles and contributions on our Web site under a heading for each month. Under this plan our magazine will be reduced to only 4 pages and will be sent out each month with "NetWare Connection" Magazine. Each *.MNU will contain the last months Q & A, some press articles, and MNUG announcements, all other "stuff" will be published on our Web site - http://www.mnug.org.au/.
We have some big plans for keynote presentations during 1998 for members to look forward to including: Netscape & Novonyx, Video Conferencing, Oracle & the NC, and Cross platform implementation of NDS.
We look forward to seeing you all in the New Year.
Seasons Greetings,
Marc Heymann, President.
